CONTENT HIGHLIGHTS
• The base set consists of 100 regular cards - each sporting a unique background design provided by the team that created the original 1997-98 Metal Universe set - and 50 high-series Metal Shredders cards (a new name and design for the high-series subset). The diverse checklist is made up of top prospects, current superstars and legends from a variety of sports: Baseball, Basketball, Boxing, Football, Golf, Hockey, MMA, Soccer, Tennis and more!
The parallel lineup is extensive and will entice fans and collectors alike! There are seven colorful, serially-#’d PMG parallels ranging from Red (#’d to 150) to Purple (#’d 1-of-1), as well as Auto and low-#’d Gold Auto parallels.
• The 2022 edition of Skybox Metal Universe Champions features a bevy of intriguing inserts, including several new additions:
o NEW! 1997-98 Metal Universe Championship Retro: This collection of cards features the top athletes from the base set on the 1997-98 Metal Universe Championship base set design. Each box will contain, on average, three of these cards. There are also serially-#’d Red and Green PMG parallels!
o NEW! 2500 Degrees: This “hot” new set and its super rare Auto parallel feature an impressive checklist.
o A Cut Above: One of the most popular inserts in the 2021 edition is back. Each rainbow foilboard die-cut card features one of the best athletes from the base set.
o NEW! Championship Galaxy: This is a revamped PETG version of a classic insert and features a best-of-the-best checklist.
o Fresh Foundations: The checklist for this colorful set features only top prospects and young stars! Like the base set, there are seven serially-#’d PMG parallels, highlighted by the 1-of-1 Purple parallel, as well as Auto (Varied #’ing) and Gold Auto (#’d to 10) parallels.
o NEW! Golden Touch: Another revamped version of a classic insert, this perimeter die-cut set also sports a best-of-the-best checklist.

There are six serially-#’d parallels, highlighted by the Star Amethyst (#’d to 10) and Star Diamond (#’d 1-of-1) parallels, as well as a design variant set #d to 50 that sports the 1998-99 Skybox Premium Star Rubies design! There is also a rare Auto parallel of the design variant set. Each box will contain, on average, three regular Skybox Premium cards.
o NEW! Standout Specimen: These rare PETG die-cut cards featuring top young prospects and stars add another chase element to the product.

Cosmetic Conditions and Grading Definitions Guide:
Mint:
A Mint Condition game will come in the original packaging (Box and Manual [if applicable]) with no marks, scratches to the product.
Not Mint:
A Not Mint Condition game will come in the original packaging (Box and Manual [if applicable]) with cosmetic wear to the product but tested to make sure it is playable and guaranteed to work
Creases and Dents:
Any lines or ridges on the Manufacture’s box or manual which were caused by any folding, pressing, or crushing.
Wear and Tear:
Any damages that are naturally cause as a result of everyday and normal use. New items, usually means that there are tears on the original cellophane
Stickers:
Any stickers that were placed on the product. To avoid further damage to the product, we do not attempt to remove all stickers.
Fading/Writing:
Any fading or writing on the box, manual or disc that does not hinder or affect game play
Trading Card Game Conditions:
Near Mint:
Cards in Near Mint (NM) condition show minimal to no wear from shuffling, play or handling and can have a nearly unmarked surface, crisp corners and unblemished edges outside of a few minimal flaws. A Near Mint card may have a tiny edge nick or a tiny scratch or two, but overall look nearly unplayed with no major defects or flaws.
The acceptable range of cards within the Near Mint condition include both cards with no imperfections and cards with a few minor imperfections.
Slightly Played:
Cards in Slightly Played (SP) condition may have minor border or corner wear or even just slight scuffs or scratches. There are no major defects such as liquid damage, bends or issues with the structural integrity of the card. Noticeable imperfections are okay, but none should be too severe or at too high a volume.
Moderately Played:
Cards in Moderately Played (MP) condition can have border wear, corner wear, scratching or scuffing, creases or whitening or any combination of mild examples of these marks.
A Moderately Played card may have some form of a more major marking, such as creasing that doesnʼt affect card integrity, but not in combination with other issues such as scratches, scuffs or border/edge wear and not impacting a large area of the card.
Heavily Played:
Cards in Heavily Played (HP) condition show a severe amount of wear. Cards with less than 30% of the surface being liquid damaged are typically accepted but may be considered Damaged if especially detrimental. HP cards can have one small instance of missing ink (such as if something is stuck to a card, then removed and pulls away part of the card), along with major creasing, whitening and border wear if the card can still be sleeve playable.
Damaged:
Cards in Damaged condition can exhibit a tear, bend or crease that may make the card illegal for tournament play, even in a sleeve. If more than 30% of the card is damaged by liquid, it's considered Damaged. Cards in Damaged condition may have extreme border wear, extreme corner wear, heavy scratching or scuffing, folds, creases or tears or other damages that impacts the structural integrity of the card. (Note: No one likes to receive a card that is covered in a foreign substance, such as food, liquid or other material.)
